I bought a flat-iron going on year ago and am just getting into using it NOW! And I am in love. I thought about filing this under effortless hair, but I'm thinking this might not be effortless for everyone. Since my hair has gotten so long, it's become a hassle to do right out of the shower.

So the last few days I've been allowing my hair to air dry 75% or so, and finish it off with the flat iron. It takes a total of 10 minutes. Tops.
So, the bangs... I've had bangs over a year now, but have been growing them out. Here's a fresh cut:

I've been growing them out because I haven't made a trip to NJ recently to get a hair cut. I have an amazing stylist and I haven't found a replacement!
Oh, and here's the flat-iron I use:

I might have to try your technique. I am usually so lazy I just let it air dry completely, but I could handle working on the last 25 percent!
