Favorite Beauty Products

Today I'd like to share with you some of the products I use on a daily basis, the products I don't know if I could live without.

1.) NYC Grand Central Station Top Coat.  I have recently switched from my favorite top coat Seche Vite (SV) to this one.  SV, although it dries fast and shiny, tends to shrink the majority of nail polishes under it.  As a result, it shortens the life of a manicure, and just looks bad.  I have seen a lot of nail bloggers use this so I decided to give it a try.  Although I only recently started using it, I will continue to as I have no chips or shrinkage going into day 3 of my ombre manicure.

NYC Grand Central Station Top Coat is available at drug stores for $1.99.

2.) Liquid Neutrogena. I love this soap. Over the years I've used a ton of different face soaps, but am a recent convert to Neutrogena. It is unscented, has no bells and whistles, no fancy packaging, but I love it just the same. I am not prone to breakouts other than around TOM, but this has even cleared them up. I have normal skin, not greasy, and not noticeably dry, and this seems to strike the perfect balance. It is not overly drying either, it doesn't leave the telltale tight, drying feeling after use.

Liquid Neutrogena is available at drug stores.

3.) eos Lip Balm in Sweet Mint.  I feel like any praise I give this product is old news, but in case you haven't heard of eos, I'll go on.  eos, or Evolution of Smooth, is 95% organic, 100% natural, and more importantly, gluten-, paraben-, petrolatum-, and phthalate-free.  Don't know what those are? Neither do I, but I'm sure glad they're not going on my lips! Sweet Mint is my personal favorite, but there are 6 flavors, one of which that contains spf 15 (lemon.)

I'm also a fan of their hand lotion, it's worth checking out.  If you're at Ulta, it's usually in the sample/travel size bins up front.

eos is available at drugstores and Ulta.

4.) Julep's Best Pedi Creme Ever. Where do I start? The name says it all.  I'll be honest when I say that Julep polishes are a little take it or leave it, but their beauty products are amazing.  The pedi cream blows them all away.  This came in the April box, and I will be buying this over and over again, regardless of the price.  I was fortunate enough to win the April Golden Box, where I won all 5 boxes instead of my American Beauty box, but unfortunately they only sent me one Pedi Creme.  I would trade all my Julep polishes for more of it.

The Pedi Creme is an exfoliator and moisturizer in one, and leaves your feet so smooth.  They promise you'll see results in 1-2 uses and they're not kidding.

Julep Pedi Creme is available here. Consequently, you can join Julep Maven for $.01 again with code SHAREONMAY, and the pedi creme is on sale for $17.50.  It's usually $22, and worth.  Every.  Penny.

5.) Simple Cleansing Facial Wipes. I'll admit that I am the worst at proper skin care, and I don't wash my face every night before going to bed. For shame, I know. I'm starting to realize my 20's are quickly leaving me and I can't get away with this behavior for much longer. So, in an effort to clean off my makeup before going to bed and to make myself feel a little better about the fact that I don't wash my face, I use these wipes.

What I love about these wipes is that they are gentle enough to use around my eyes, and don't sting when I immediately apply lotion. I had been using Burt's Bees wipes, but even after waiting 5-10 minutes, underneath my eyes would sting upon applying lotion.

I highly recommend picking up these and other Simple products, available at drug stores.

6.) Barielle Nail Strengthening Cream.  This is another product (like the pedi creme) that I will continue to buy, no matter the price.  I purchased this at Sally Beauty Supply a few months ago on a BOGO promotion, and am in love.  I use it every night before I go to bed on my nails and cuticles.  Apparently originally used for million-dollar race horse hooves, the nail cream is guaranteed to help your nails resist splits, breaks, and peeling, and maintain healthy nails.  They promise results in 3-4 weeks, but I saw results in about a week. An added benefit is you can use it over nail polish, so there's no excuse not to be using it daily!

Barielle products are available at Sally Beauty Supply with this creme retailing for ~$7.99.

These are all products I use on a daily basis.  What are some of your beauty product staples?
