For my birthday my sister in law (and family) gave me these incredible Kate Spade glasses, aren't they rad? I'll admit that the whole cat-eye trend scares me. I'm sure it's just a basic fear of the unknown, but as I stated in this post, my style is evolving thanks to blogging. A year ago I would have went with a pair or aviators (I may be a little obsessed...3 pairs,) but thanks to my blogging, I now own timeless tortoise shell cat-eye glasses!
We spent this past weekend in Salem with my sister in law Abbe, her husband Jon and their 3 kids Josh, Lily, and Sophie. It was a fun packed weekend, a perfect retreat for the hubs and I. They are seriously the busiest people I know...between cookouts, baseball games, art exhibits, and rides in the convertible, we stayed busy all weekend.
I guess I didn't realize until I saw this picture that my pant cuffs weren't equally folded... oh well.
This has become one of my favorite outfits and I've worn it probably at least once a week for the last few weeks. Thanks to Bekah over at Matters of Merrymaking for the inspiration to buy boyfriend tanks from Target, I had been avoiding the whole boyfriend trend for years.
The funny thing is, although it looks like I styled this outfit around the glasses, it was fate that they matched this outfit as I was wearing it!
