OOTD: Summer Wedding Weekend

In lieu of an OOTD post this week (still adjusting to working full time,) I want to share what I wore to my brother's wedding last weekend. I was so happy to be able to go home to New Jersey to celebrate the union of my little brother Wes and his wife Megan. It was such a beautiful weekend filled with great food, fun, and the chance to see some family and friends from awhile back!

I wore this first look to the wedding Thursday night, an eShakti dress that I won through the giveaway over on Alicia's blog.  This was a God send, as I wasn't planing on buying a new dress (or 2) as I have so many already hanging in the closet which haven't been worn more than once. Then I won a giveaway allowing me to pick anything I wanted off their site, and I knew it would be a dress.

The beauty in these pictures with me is my sister Re, who blogs over at Social Work Confessions

The next night I wore one of my favorite dresses, the dress I bought for my graduation last year.  I figured no one really saw it as I wore it under my cap and gown, so why not showcase it once again?

  10. I love the eShakti dress! Did you know you get $20 off on your first order for new customers? I may or may not have signed up with my work email too to benefit from that again for my most recent order. Same here- ordered dresses from there... the one I just ordered is for a wedding in August. Both dresses - the eshakti and the graduation one- look amazing, and I am in love with your look from the wedding! I cannot believe you got that bubble necklace on EBAY!!?!?! Need!!!!!!! And the shoes are absolute perfection, unbeatable. Great outfits!

  16. Wedding weekend seems to be quite enjoyable. Went for a baby shower of my friend's sister in law couple of months ago at one of the marvelous Seattle venues. Yellow lighting and matching draping was really eye catching. Staff was quite attentive towards all the guests. Also got appreciation from all the guests for her efforts.
