#SheShares & #ThinkLessThankMore

I was beyond excited this week when a blogging friend MrsGlove8 told me about the #SheReadsTruth blog, and am even more excited to join their Friday Link-Up, SheShares. I don't have a planned post, but just wanted to share what has been going on in my spiritual life recently.

Since linking up with #SheReadsTruth, I've started a Plan on YouVersion, 'Prayer.' I am 6 days behind the other girls, but will be catching up this weekend. I may have even gone and invested in some adorable art/journaling supplies at Target this week.

I have also been listening to Joyce Meyer's series Battlefield of the Mind on my 40-45 minute commute to work in the mornings, and have been receiving the blessings! One thing I want to share with you is a mantra that Joyce repeats, 'think less and thank more.' In order to put this into action in my own life, I purchased the Gratitude! app, which is a gratitude journal, allowing you to journal each day things you are thankful for. Check out the app here and get journaling and sharing what you're grateful for! Start with 3 things each day that you're thankful for! Post them to twitter and instagram with #thinklessthankmore!

Lastly, do you have a prayer request you would like to share? Go over to the PrayerWorks page on Facebook started by my sister Lyn and her beautiful friend Debbie. Share your requests with fellow believers and pray for them as well.

What are you grateful for today?

  1. Hi, I originally found you through the weet & meet linkup from yesterday.

I've fallen in love with #SheReadsTruth since I started it-- it's a gorgeous community of women, supporting, uplifting & helping one another... there's nothing better than that!

Hope you have a great weekend,

    1. *tweet & meet... whoops, it's still a little early ;)

  2. So glad to meet another SheReadsTruth sister! And I'm looking forward to checking out the PrayerWorks community--sounds wonderful!

  3. Eep! First I find you on Instagram, then your blog. I think it's meant to be!!! I find it strangly ironic that you've been listening to Joyce's Battlefield, since I just started that devotional yesterday!

    You are fabulous.

  4. Loved your post! It is amazing how the more time we spend with Him through all this little projects and groups, the closer we feel!

I just downloaded the gratitude app! It looks fantastic!! Just another tool to use in trying to seek the Lord with all my heart! Thanks so much for the recommendation, and I am very excited for you as your spiritual journey soars!

  5. Hi I followed you back from BBU bloghop :) I love your blog and this post is really good! Love to see positive people who still have faith :) Ixx
