#ManiMonday: Revlon 'Girly'
Monday, January 14, 2013
I may not be able to find my namesake in a suitable color, but I am pretty sure this nail polish epitomizes me. Seriously. It's pink, it's sparkly, it's called Girly, what else makes my world go round?
This of course is a Revlon dupe (of sorts) of Deborah Lippmann's Candy Shop. That being said, I prefer this Revlon one because the glitters coordinate. Candy Shop is just the glitter from Happy Birthday mixed in with pink polish. The glitters in Girly are pink, navy, purple, and a holo/iridescent silver.
I picked this up at Rite-Aid about 2 weeks ago, and was pleasantly surprised to see other DL dupes on display. Hey, $4.99/bottle (or less depending on BOGO sale,) versus $18/bottle sounds good to me. I shared another Revlon/DL dupe here.
Is this a polish you would wear or is it too girly? I've seen a lot of bloggers are saying they'll only use it as an accent nail, I'm curious as to what your thoughts are!
