If you're on Pinterest, you've seen this manicure passing around, but have you seen the original source? No, me neither. I have been searching for the original source for over 2 weeks now in the hopes of determining what the gold polish was. You see, I couldn't find a dense gold glitter, there's plenty of silver dense glitters, but I couldn't find a gold one for the life of me!
Well, then I realized I already had the answer on my lemmings list: Butter London 'West End Wonderland,' it's perfect. And well, I was ready to recreate this magnificent manicure. And seriously, I couldn't wait another 5 days for Mani Monday to share this with you!
The pink is Butter London 'Teddy Girl,' a polish from my annual Butter London purchases at the BOGO Ulta Butter London sale in September. And of course as soon as I say that, I have to admit that I did pay full price for West End Wonderland. But come on, it's absolutely beautiful!
I used reinforcements from the office supply store to create the even half moons after 2 coats of West End Wonderland completely dried. I then applied 2 quick coats of Teddy Girl, removed the reinforcements, and finished it off with a top coat.
lovely..

ReplyDeleteThat's such a good idea to use the office reinforcements! I attempted this once around the holidays with a red polish and gold half moons, and mine did not come out nearly as good as yours! This is beautiful (I can see why you couldn't wait to share)!
